I encourage all students to try completing the homework the best that they can on their own. However, feel free to guide your child to get him/her started if he/she is stuck, and let me know if support was needed. As the handbook states, “the purpose of homework is to review, practice, or extend concepts taught in school.” If your child is really struggling with the assignment, please let me know. Homework is not meant to cause frustration, so if an assignment is taking your child more than 45 minutes to complete, please have them stop and write me a note.
